My Bucket List

This is so far from complete. A lot of stuff is missing, and I’ll add it later… This list doesn’t even include the lengthy list of places I want to travel to. This is mostly local stuff, stuff I want to do in the next year… Some of these I’ve done before, and I feel compelled to do them again soon. Like feeding the ducks or fishing at the pier. Others would be firsts like getting a pedicure or going to a non-gay club or learning to drive stick shift. Anyway. Yeah. I started keeping a list like this when I was 12 after some stupid doctors nearly let me die. I decided this was important, because I only get one shot at this living business, and there’s a lot I want to do. So. Here’s the start of the list.

  • Build up my own collection of at least 150 recipes I love.
  • Get a mani-pedi.
  • Earn at least one bachelor’s degree.
  • Take the LSATs.
  • Improve my handwriting.
  • Meet Rachel.
  • Write a novel.
  • Go to a club. That isn’t gay. (May 2, 2009 at Club TSI to see Diplo)
  • Feed the ducks.
  • Go to a First Wednesday Art Walk.
  • Go fishing at the pier.
  • Go to the Cummer. (March 12, 2009, with the Boy. One of my pics from this trip is even featured on Schmap!)
  • See a show at the Alhambra Dinner Theatre.
  • Go to the zoo.
  • Spend a weekend at a hotel on the beach.
  • See a meteor shower.
  • Learn to drive stick shift.
  • Try pottery.
  • Try archery.
  • Get my concealed weapons license.
  • Get a (freaking) date (already).
  • Kiss someone under mistletoe.
  • Leave the country. (May 11-25! Japan! Follow me at my travel blog.)
